Good family fun but gets crowded at peak times

The Pompoko Mountain in Shinrin park is an artificial air inflated play mountain which is great fun for kids. It is one of the three bigger play areas in Shinrin Park, also known as Musashi Kyuryo National Government Park. The Pompoko mountain is about half between the West and Central gates, with the latter being marginally closer than the west gate. Beside the Pompoko mountain there are flower fields. Currently, October 2019, there are thousands of Cock's Comb in bloom as well as some Kochia. There are toilets in the area as well as a large shaded gazebo and a water drinking fountain.

Its is a rubber bouncing mountain thing. Great fun for kids from 6 years upwards. There is a tiny version for smaller children as well, but it is rather small.
