A prefectural park that pairs with the Shimami Ryokuchi on the west side. It was established as a buffer zone with the surrounding area when constructing the Niigata East Port Industrial Park. On weekdays, those who come for a walk from the surrounding residential areas and those who work in the industrial park visit for lunch breaks. On holidays, you can see playground equipment and parents and children playing in the plaza. Anyway, the green is wonderful, and it's so quiet that it's hard to imagine an industrial park in the immediate vicinity. It's safe to stop by when you're working or driving, or when you're near.

There was a biotope, but I couldn't find anything remarkable. It was nice to have many flowers such as cherry blossoms, forests, and thrushes, but the forest on the north side of the main street was better. It's not a prefectural one, but a cave-like forest.

There is a Kappa in the waterfront square! Did you make it playful? There is only a prefectural name and it is beautifully maintained. It is a green area, but it is a park with a long green area. Because there are play equipment with a slide, it is a perfect place to play small children. There is an exercise plaza, which is large enough for children to play soccer. According to the signboard on the waterfront square, raccoon dogs, rabbits and beetles can be seen in this park. There are 3 wheelchair parking spaces. There are 3 vending machines. There is also a restroom for wheelchairs. There are two parking lots according to the vending machine side and the open space side of the waterside. Riding a bicycle is prohibited.

The site is large and good for walking. There is no swing, but it is good for playing children. It is even better if there is a ball.

Sidewalks are maintained in the park site. The trees are well kept, and there are other areas such as "waterside open space", "satoyama open space", "exercise open space" and "freedom open space". There are children's play equipments and they can enjoy it in their own way. Also, you can feel the change of the seasons with flowers and trees such as cherry blossoms, azaleas, hydrangeas, roses, acacias, etc. so you will never get bored.
