** Ginsho-ji Temple 吟松寺（洛北・鷹ヶ峰） This temple called Ginshoji belongs to Jodo sect of Buddhism. It was founded in 1626. It was named after the younger brother of Moritaka Fujibayashi by his Buddhist name. ( Moritaka Fujibayashi is a man from a famous Ninja family called Nagatonokami of Japanese sengoku war period ). The principal image of Jodo sect is Amidanyorai Statue. This place provides deep green of summer season filled with hydrangeas blooming all around as well as known as a hidden hot spot for viewing autumn leaves. It is recommended that you go along Kamiyagawa and visit Shozan Resort before visiting this place. Since the place is not open for tourists or the target of promotion for tourism, it is very quiet. Of course, there is no charge to enter this place. From the entrance gate toward the left is a grave yard with a bunch of Jizo statues. You can go in cuircle around its garden fully covered in beautiful moss. These momiji trees ( japanese maple trees ) are the sign of potential for a great scenary of its autum season. 鷹峯にある浄土宗の寺である。 1626年（寛永三年）、長門守藤原守隆の次男である左伝次守伝の法名から「吟松寺」と号された。本尊は恵心僧都（源信）作と伝わる阿弥陀如来像。露地には楓が数多く植樹され、紅葉の隠れ名所として風流を好むものが参拝に訪れる。洛北鷹峯（たかがみね）には、源光庵や光悦寺、常照寺といった紅葉の美しいお寺がありますが、紙屋川沿いにあるレジャー施設「しょうざん」から川に沿って、10分くらい歩いたところにある吟松寺（ぎんしょうじ）は、知る人ぞ知る、鷹峯のおすすめの隠れ紅葉スポットです。( Trans-word+ : TGM Kyoto Guide )
