Love the public bath and the natural scenery❤️❤️
Tamagawa onsen hotspring is one of the greatest hotsprings in Japan. It is wild, strongly acidic and effective to cure many kinds of disease. There are many people to care themselves from all over Japan.
A natural volcano site with hot spring oozing out from underground at 98 degree celcius and 1 to2 rate of acidity. Nearly onsen hotels. Their hot bath must be fabulous
I stopped here twice while cycling around Aomori-Akita. It’s full of sweet seniors who come for the supposed “healing” properties of the onsen which is believed to cure cancer because it originates deep in a radioactive zone of the earth. Decent buffet. Would go again!
Interesting place to see sulphuric vents and hokulite stones. The 1km+trail takes about 30-50mins to view, inclusive of photo taking
