Recently, there is a loneliness that the limited express has become a passing station and is left behind due to people's interest. However, some limited express trains stop, and many people use it for daily commuting, school, and business trips. Since it is outside the center of Okaya, there is no bustle in front of the station. I think a taxi is convenient for moving from the station. Business hotels are scattered, and the large shopping mall (Lake Walk Apita) takes too long to walk from the station. There are large and small companies and factories around Okaya Station, but I think taxis are a convenient way to get around. There is also a fixed-route bus. Those who use it are welcome to leave their feet in this area. However, if you want to move efficiently, such as in business, or if you are in a hurry, you may be worried about where you are heading if you do not know the land. A few decades ago, the town was bustling with silk reeling factories and the precision machinery industry (which is still the mainstream industry), but the current situation is that tourism resources such as these are scarce. I found a new bar containing a code before and after the approach display on the platform of Okaya station. Is the broadcasting equipment that I have been using for 16 years from 2004 exhausted? Maybe the melody will be played again when the train departs since 2004?

This is a transfer station for the Iida Line (Tatsuno Branch Line). By the end of September, the Midori no Madoguchi was closed and a reserved seat ticket vending machine was introduced. I would like to look forward to it in the future.

A branch station with the Tatsuno branch line. The limited express in the direction of Shiojiri passes through the main line, the Enrei Tunnel. It is the central station of Okaya City on the shores of Lake Suwa, and the city area extends northeast in front of the station. Trains from the Iida Line run directly to this station.

I was surprised that the area around the station was too quiet, even though it should be the center of Okaya city. There was great hope for the commercial building "Lara Okaya" located near Okaya Station, and it would be lonely if the appearance was so beautiful. I wondered what it was.
