The old ryokan has been converted into a museum and is a quaint place. Autumn leaves are outstanding.

I didn't enter, but the garden seen from the outside was very beautiful and I thought it would be even nicer to see it from the inside.

I found it while I was walking. An inn building with a white wall and iron doors that is 100 years old. It is the oldest inn building in Yamanaka Onsen. Thanks to the fire-resistant structure, it was said that it was also burned down on a large fire in Showa 6th. There were a hall and a tea room, and materials such as “Oku no Hosomichi” and “Yamanaka Painting” were exhibited. I was able to get out in the garden with clogs and enjoyed a nice Japanese space. By the way, the admission fee was ¥ 200.
