As recommended by the staff of the Kawadayama Ancient Tomb Group Historical Museum, I went to the Komatsu Archaeological Research Center, which is about 10 minutes away by car. I was looking for a haniwa excavated from an old burial mound, but I was just holding a special exhibition "Yokaichi Regional Ruins 90th Anniversary Special Exhibition" and I could not see the haniwa excavated from the old burial mound. Instead, Hokuriku about 2400 years ago. Valuable reserves such as Japan's oldest patterned iron haniwa and wooden haniwa excavated from the core village ruins were exhibited, which was interesting. We also received a handmade Haniwa Shiori prepared for the visitors of the special exhibition. The "Excavated Japanese Archipelago 2020" was held on a tour at the Niigata Prefectural Museum of History in Nagaoka City, but was it a special exhibition corresponding to that? At that time, we were the only ones who were touring the Buried Cultural Property Center, and the hall was quiet. The staff were full of welcome and I was lonely because they talked to me in a friendly manner.

This is a place I've always been interested in. For free charm ... (´ ; ω ; `) Wow I imagined from the building that there were many large exhibition rooms, and I was hoping that I could see many of Komatsu's buried cultural assets. There is one small exhibition room other than ... It was my misunderstanding and misunderstanding that I visited without any knowledge. Rather than exhibiting all of Komatsu City's enormous amount of materials, it is said that the reserves in each location in the city will be replaced several times each year. This time, it was a buried cultural property in the Yokaichi region that became famous many times in the newspaper as "new discovery". It was a very deep and surprising hour, but at the end, the talk of a reluctant expert solved all my doubts. When I heard the explanation and saw the exhibits, I felt that Komatsu was located in the middle of the Sea of Japan and was a large settlement with an excellent culture that incorporates culture and information from the east and west. That is ☺

It is a beautiful facility. The official is very kind. Although I did not ask for it this time, it seems to explain the exhibition. Also, it seems that you can do various experiences (braid, creation of gems etc) free of charge, so when you visit next time, I want to try!
