This is a museum that displays the ghosts from Japanese folklore with a mild taste.
Honestly, the quality of the exhibits is not very good.
Perhaps, for the children, it seems to have been deliberately made with a ridiculous valqual rather than realistically.
All in all, this is a 30 minute to 1 hour course. If you are a tourist who does not speak Japanese well, you will only see strange ghosts that you may not know because the explanation is insufficient.
A new, beautiful and splendid building with money
However, the exhibits are not good
Will even small children be happy?
Even so, I wonder if it is worth the admission fee
(´ ・ ω ・ `;)
Yokai Yashiki exceeded our expectations. If you have kids and / or enjoy folklore and ridiculous museums, you will love this rest stop. The bilingual signs were well translated. There's a very short (about 10 steps) haunted house section that was perfectly scary for young kids.
On the 2nd floor of this beautiful building is a Stone Museum. We often go to our local science museum but the collection at Yokai Yashiki had larger specimens than I have seen elsewhere. There were also some unusual stones we saw for the first time.
It was much more fun than expected! If you are traveling with children, folk lovers, unusual things lovers, by all means visit a youkai residence. The explanation of the English version was also good. The haunted house of about 4 meters was just scared of children.
The stone museum on the second floor was too amazing and surprised. I often go to the local science museum, but the exhibits at the youkai mansion are very large. Some stones I saw for the first time.
It was nice to be like a healing haunted house.
I went on a Saturday in mid-September with a second grader child ☆
Is it just an exhibition? I thought it was a little disappointing, but I was able to enjoy cute monsters lined up!
Not just an exhibition? !
There are corners where youkai can be examined on the touch panel, goods for games and a little play are placed, and there are corners where you can read books, so it's better to go when you can relax!
If you are a child of elementary school, once you are in the parent and child and tell them the points you can play, adults will have time to choose souvenirs, footbaths, and cafe time!
There is a kids space outside the youkai mansion, so little kids can play a little, so it might be a change of mind ^ ^
Healed! (О´∀`о)
