The largest green space in central Hiroshima city, across a narrow access road next to the river which also has a nice grassy area. Well used by local residents for play, sports, lounging, jogging, BBQing and tiny dog walking. and. Chuo Koen will be sorely missed if and when the planned soccer stadium is built on it.

First the government didn't cut the weeds so our kids had a rough time playing in the fields (yes, people, it "has nothing" but fields and trees...er...as parks are generally made to be). Now they will turn it into a stadium and turn the old stadium which they tore down into a semi-park. The next plan is to turn Peace Park into a tourist cesspit and a tourist cesspit into a stadium to celebrate tourists...and war.

Pretty much just a grassy area, but it's great to walk around, rest, have picnics, or play sports. There are public bathrooms as well

Beautiful park a bit outside the standard tourist area, but should be visited as well. A great place to take a break.

It's a nice park but not maintained very well and there are no facilities for kids at all.
