Kanagawa Pref. Shōnan Kaigan Park

It’s probably the most popular beach close to Tokyo, with good service, big parking space (although quite expensive) and a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Not so good point - waves may be big which makes lifeguards somewhat mad.

Lovely beach. Very very hot sand though, bring appropriate shoes. I'm an adult and the sand was almost unbearable to walk on for me! Gets better closer to the water obviously. No umbrellas so bring your own shade. In the parking deck there are bathrooms and a nice are to wash off at. Tons of good restaurants close also.

Nice beach. Many facilities around and comfortable sand. The sea is a bit blurry, but had a good temperature.

Beautiful gardens with plenty of variety of flowers and such. The view was wonderful and benches scattered throughout so you can sit down and just enjoy your surroundings

the most wonderful burger I've ever eaten in Japan! and to be perfect up to 1000ml draft beer!!! :D Always made to the point with great care... Highlight for Onion Rings... Sensational!!! Worth it!!!
