Like most zoos in Japan the animals are kept in embarrassingly tiny cages and can't really move or do anything. It's kinda sad to see.
Its a nice walk up the mountain, free entry and theres a sloth. not great conditions for the animals but thats never been a big priority in Japanese zoos.
This is a really nice small zoo with a good variety of animals. The animals seem happy and well cared for. Most amazingly of all, admission is free!

Is it okay to have so many animals for free? !! I was looking for a donation box somewhere, but I didn't.
It seems that I usually touch capybara, but I didn't touch it in the corona.
However, you can see it up close where there is no fence!

The location was so confusing that I couldn't easily reach it with a car navigation system or a mobile phone navigation system.

Shrine? There is a parking lot at the foot of the park, but if you park there, you have to walk a lot, so you can drive to the front of the park.
I don't even write such a thing on the signboard, so it's hard to understand anyway, so I'm at a loss (^^;
But it's free, so I'm very satisfied! !!
Such a fun zoo? amusement park? There is the best in Fukui prefecture.
I think the reason why an amusement park is called is because there are a lot of playground equipment.
A 4-year-old child wants to do more! I said, but I couldn't play because it was only an hour before the park closed.
I think you can play for almost a day at Asuwayama Park from eating lunch somewhere until the evening (^^)
