This small liquor shop is very likely the spot with the widest selection of bottled craft beer in Kyoto, and perhaps in all of Kansai. Service is excellent. They also have a selection of Japanese sake, but almost no wine. Finally, they sell some organic vegetables and rice.

A little sake and craft beer shop just a little walk away from central Kyoto, this shop is run by an elderly couple who have a wide selection of Japanese craft beers, sake and other drinks. If you like (real) craft beer, this is definitely worth checking out! The prices are very reasonable as well, about ¥650 on average.
Amazing beer and sake selection. It's a small, tucked in place where you can tell the owners take great pride. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.
One of the best beer and sake shops in Kyoto! Huge selection of Japanese craft beers, over 150 different brews at any given time. Mr. Yamaoka, the owner, is super knowledgeable and kind- always super fun browsing the rare beers!
