The best science museum I have ever seen, probably the best in the world. Most major scientific concepts are demonstrated through hands on exhibits. Pure science is presented without shying away from topics due to others dogmatic belief systems. If you are in Tokyo, this is well worth a nice shinkansen ride to Nagoya for a day trip. Very good museum for kids, very well organized and maintained. The planetarium is the most modern and comfortable we have ever been (around 10). However the show was the most boring we have ever been, it was just a person with a narrative of some points in the universe, maybe informative but extremely boring.
It was good and informative day. Although everything is in Japanese so cant really get the information. Planetarium was the best atleast to view the stars but cant really understand any details. Wish they had atleast some show in English or audio translation.
You could spend a whole day here, best if it is raining and you have no place to go! Get the student discount if you are eligible
Got a sci-fi like dome. Beautiful and very photogenic. Nice and spacious park for relaxing. A mesmerizing fountain.
Great for quiet reflection and family outings.
It was really nice.. But the language used in planetarium is only Japanese... Wish there was an option for translation ... Else it was really wonderful
