Love this train museum in Niitsu. Great historical information along with cool subway simulator . Fun for all.

Nice museum. This railway Museum has a lot to see and experience about the railways machine. Recommended for both kids & adult. We can learn about the history & technology of railways. The Entrance fee is very cheap. There are some kid’s activities as well.

This is a nice, little train museum. This museum focuses on the history of Niitsu, and the importance the town played for the railroad in Japan. Lots of neat artifacts and displays. There's a shinkansen and locomotiive outside. The museum is about 1500 metres from the train station, so it's walk able. There's also a bus for a couple hundred yen. By the way, it's the building on the right that's behind the outdoor exhibitions. When you enter, simply buy a ticket from the vending machine and hand it to the employee.

Small, well-kept and well-maintained. Rollingstock consists of two trains. The simulator is awesome. Lots of playrail in two different rooms for children. All The facilities you need to feed and change your baby. Nice museum and well worth a visit.
