Kariya science museum is quite fun for kids. It offers different science shows has a permanent exhibition about Hayabusa... and some other temporary ones.
The museum has a kids play area, a food area where you can eat what you've brought. Nothing except drinks is sold there.
I visited with my son for the first time.
I participated in a science experience class. I felt uncomfortable when I saw the attitude and words of a female employee in a white coat. My son was also scared and didn't seem to have fun. Young employee? part time job? However, I was worried when I saw it with the same attitude.
Considering that it is a place where many children come, I think it is better to change it.
My son seemed to enjoy other crafts and planetariums.
You can enjoy free work and paid work.
Even if it says that it is charged, it is 100 yen.
The staff is also kind and polite.
I think it's a great place to spend with children.
There was a dinosaur event, and my son was one year old. There is a space for children to play on the first floor, and a planetarium on the third floor. There is also a Kariya City Children's Park next to it, so it was nice to be able to play while going to and from the amusement park.
