I haven't done it yet, but there is a BELL X-1 engine (actual) that has surpassed the speed of sound for the first time in the world.

This is a research and learning facility at Shizuoka Institute of Technology. Valuable aircraft-related materials and materials (especially engines) are carefully stored and arranged so that they can be easily used for university research. It is a well-equipped facility with many items of high historical value. The facility is open to the general public, so if you are engaged in aircraft related work, we strongly encourage you to visit it! (Reservation required) Check the HP!

Only Wednesday Thursday, we can not visit without reservation two weeks in advance.

Shizuoka Institute of Technology facility. It's not wide, but it makes me excited when I look at the engine!
