The two colored stones used on the stone walls above the stairs are all Komatsu edge stones. It seems to have been used as a monument that leads to the transmission of Komatsu's ancient stone culture (Japan Heritage of the Agency for Cultural Affairs: a story of walking with gems). Takigahara stone: Green tuff that began in 11 years of culture and is still mined. It is characterized by its fine eyes, durability and resistance to rain and snow. There is a quarry that is currently in operation and an old quarry. In the Takigahara area, there are 6 arch-shaped stone bridges created after the Meiji period (5 existing bridges in Takigahara town + 1 adjacent Bodhi town bridge), and there are multiple cases of stone bridges in one area nationwide. Pumiceous tuff formed by the accumulation of volcanic ash from Hakusan that has been excavated since the early Taisho period. The most attractive thing is its color. It is often used for gate walls, warehouse walls, and indoors, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The anecdote that remained without breaking the stone remains even at the Komatsucho fire twice. It is also used in modern architecture throughout the country, including the National Diet Building and Koshien Hotel.
