It's an ancient tomb, but it's a wonderful landscape with a mysterious mountain and a pond.

Homoriyama is also said to be the mound of the Ainu chief or the mound where the source of Yoshitsune Minamoto, Rokuro Kamei, died. There was a small hill in the center of the park, and there was a shrine called Ichikawa Shrine on this hill before the relocation of Kamezuka Beach to its current location. With the development of the East Port and the relocation of the Kamezukahama community, this land, which was a symbol of the hearts of the residents, was maintained as a historic park, and the hibuna was released into the pond. Today it is a park in Niigata Higashi Port, but until the port was built, the village shrine was on a small hill. According to one theory, this is said to be an old burial mound. The village, shrine itself has moved, but there are many anecdotes from the past, this place was good not to be destroyed ⛩️
There are herons and ducks in the pond. If you want to see waterfowl, here is recommended from Seigo Ryokuchi. There is a parking lot, but there are no playground equipment for children. The toilet is also closed in winter.
