MARS COSMO
This is a FANTASTIC WHISKY so smooth and intense and i should say “delicate”.
And the name is really perfect! After a couple of tasty sips the COSMIC scope of this wonderful whisky begins to make its way!!!
(I am sorry for real experts... but i keep my whiskies in the freezer and I like to drink them cold with that beautiful oily consistency that cold gives to alcohol….)

Small little Distillery in the centre of town. Good range of sakes to try.
I stopped by the Hombo Shuzo Mars Shinshu Distillery, which I found on my way home from eating Sauce Katsu Don in Garo.
It's a beautiful distillery, but it's been 35 years since it was founded and it was renewed in September 2020.
Currently, the factory tour is just a self-view of free whiskey distillation. It seems to be the influence of Corona.
The scale is too different from Suntory Hakushu Distillery and it feels very small. Imagine Hakushu! I wonder. There may be some good points here, but Hakushu may be better for a distillery tour.
There is no tasting, all are charged. You can enjoy whiskey and Minami Shinshu beer while hitting a wood-burning stove at the reception, shop, and bar in the visitor building. I drank a Mars barreled aging blend that was aged coffee beans in a barrel of whiskey. The aroma of whiskey was transferred to the coffee and it had an aromatic taste.
