Kineca Omori

Nice little theatre that shows some harder to find foreign films or ones without major theatre releases. the atmosphere of the theatre shows that the staff cares about the films as well. It was a little out of the way from where I live but totally worth going to!

Nice small movie theater. Good selections of movies.

Good enough for a 2 hour enjoyment but a lil discomfort with regards to the space and the temperature controlled inside...

5 minutes from the north or east exit of Omori Station. 5th floor of Seiyu Omori store. It's easier than the entrance of Seiyu, but the entrance where the neon KINECA neon lights out. There are three elevators, but only one on the left is working. Recently it has moved in the middle. As it became a numbered ticket type, purchase tickets early (there are many restaurants on the same 5th floor). There are three screens (it seems to be "the first cinema in Japan"), not very big. The seats are staggered, with luggage hooks, cup folders and umbrella stands in each seat. Regular programs are also screened, but the special event, “Two Great Scenes”, is a fun occasion. Free WiFi available.

I mainly use it with my children. You can see Doraemon, Crayon Shin-chan, and Detective Conan, so it's helpful because it doesn't get so crowded a little after the release date. Seats can be reserved online, and the building has been renovated and cleaned. You can buy drinks and light meals at the hotel, but I haven't bought it yet. Since it is on the 5th floor of Seiyu, after watching a movie, the course is to eat at a shop on the same floor, look at Yamada Denki and Book Off, and go home.
