Andersen is a lot like a Dean & Deluca. They sell a variety of prepared food items, there is a bakery, wine, chocolate shop, tea, coffee, and other provisions.
On the weekends it is very crowded. When the weather is nice there is a beautiful outdoor seating area.
Update: Second visit was just as fantastic! We had lunch upstairs. It’s the perfect place to stop if you need a light lunch. The club sandwich was so good that I’ll be back!
One of the best bread maker in the area. you can buy fresh delicious breakfast there. Highly recommended.
Breakfast was pretty tasty and I love that they open so early!! I ordered the French toast set based on a friend’s recommendation. I was not disappointed!
The bakery downstairs wasn’t open yet, but I usually buy bread from Andersen if I’m nearby. The bread is always fresh and good too.

This place is amazing!! I got the grilled cheese and the bread was so fresh and chewy and delicious! I loved it so much. I also like how it comes with salad and coffee. I was so satisfied after my meal.
I want to come back if I'm ever in Hiroshima again.
