What a wonderful place, with lots of interesting plant and animal life, including a giant 200-year-old cherry tree and so many birds you don't even need equipment to see them. There are a variety of ecosystems from wetland to forest and many interesting things in the surrounding area, especially cherry blossoms in spring. For those without cars there is a bus from Kitamoto Station.

This is a wonderful place to escape for a couple of hours and relax. The amount of wildlife here is amazing! If you have kids it'd be a lot of fun as there's a nice education area in the main building but for foreign adults, it's a great opportunity to brush up on your wildlife vocabulary in Japanese. Lots of place to chill out while walking around too and the parking is free. It's not too far from Omiya by car but I highly recommend you use GPS because the entrance is a little tricky to find, but we'll worth the effort.

The center is not used. I took a walk in the surrounding nature park. The park takes 30 minutes to walk from the south end to the north end. There are a lot of courses, so I went around the park for two days. It seems that some people are for running, but there are many elderly people on the promenade mainly for walks, and some are for photography purposes, and there are also narrow areas. Please run on the bank of Arakawa nearby.

Information facility in Kitamoto Nature Observation Park. On the first floor there are exhibits that guide the park, and on the second floor there is a viewing space for observing Takao's pond. In addition, there are materials such as a picture book, so it seems to answer the interests of children (including adults). Above all, the toilet has been renovated and is clean and comfortable. Also, since it seems to lend you binoculars, ask if you need it.
