I was walking along the Nakasendo and came across this bread shop when I was really hungry! It was really pleasant, the bread on display was very good, with a wide range of different breads, pastries , cakes and sandwiches. You choose and then the staff serve you. I thought that the prices were quiet reasonable, about 150-250 yen for most items, but they were really delicious. A very welcome break on a hot day.

The clerk is quiet and not very bright, but the taste of bread is certain. It is more vacant than the main store. Baguettes have been purchased by Asanoya for a long time and are delicious.

White and bacon focaccia, white potato France is very good. It seems that they are using high-quality white thighs. There is no doubt that the potatoes have a delicious taste and you will be addicted to them. I also love 100% straight peach juice and always buy it.

It is one of several Asanoya in Karuizawa. It's small, but it's a decent assortment. But in the evening it runs out. We recommend bread, baguettes, foie gras parfaits, and petit vie. Since there is only one clerk, I will wait if there are people who buy in large quantities 😅
