Christ Church, Yokohama is an incredibly faithful worshipping community. The English-language service at 9:30 on Sundays and quarterly evensongs are sober and reverent, typifying Psalm 96, “O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.” The church itself looks like it could have been plucked out of the English countryside, and has been lovingly restored following wartime bombing and a fire in the 2000’s.

This is where I went to church with my mom forty years ago. I also helped teach Sunday school here at the time.
