Kyukamura Nyuto-Onsenkyo

Arriving cold and wet on a snowy evening, yet check-in and got cozy in no time with the help of friendly and professional staff. Love the atmosphere of the resort, great onsen, quiet environment, best food and service. We pre-order a special meal plan while making the reservation, which was served in a room away from the buffet dining room. Waiter/waitress would introduce every single dish and serve the food according to your eating speed. The buffet breakfast was fresh and tasty, and guess what? A barista awaited there to serve delicious pour over coffee! A freshly brewed hot coffee in the morning! what more could you ask for?

Great onsen place. room is clean. We enjoyed local foods, kiritanpo, etc at dinner. wonderful.

Great onsen, temperatures were good and the outside onsen was awesome. Wonderful place.

We went here in the Autumn and enjoyed walking in the gorgeous woods after a nice, hot soak in the onsen 温泉 ♨️ (hot springs). My husband and I both have colourful, full sleeve tattoos and there was no problem with us enjoying the onsen. It is a big faculty with a large bathhouse attached for shampooing and washing up. Female side has three indoor tubs of various temp and one smaller outdoor tub. Massage chairs, milk, and delicious soft serve ice cream awaits your visit!

Rooms were clean and modern, baths had a lot of amenities (facial wash and even skincare), and the resort has free WiFi. The buffet food is average, but we enjoyed our kaiseki meal.
