If you don't know this is a shrine, nobody will think it is a shrine. The entrance is not a torii gate, but a shrine gate without a sense of liberation, though a shrine rope is hung. The shrine was relocated to the main building of Kashiwara-juku, and is not a shrine. The shrine is a small garden. But what is not like a shrine is rather novel and interesting. There were several wooden shrines, stone shrines and monuments on the grounds. Detailed explanations such as the history are linked to the official website, so please go there. It is interesting to note that once it was used to treat mental illnesses, mainly on ritual and prayer.
During the first year of Bunkyo (1861), I stopped at Kashiwabara Honjin in October in order to marry Princess Wombu to the Tokugawa family. In addition, the Emperor was a historical building rested at this Honjin after the Meiji era.
