The owls are chained to the trees they are perched on! The cats are cool, playful but don't seem to enjoy being touched by humans

Not an actual cafe where you can have coffee but operates as a petting zoo for various kinds of owls. Staff speaks some English and most of the instructions have English translations as well. Owls are cute and come in various sizes, most of which you can pet safely as long as you follow instructions. Overall a good place to seel owls up close and have your picture taken with them.

Located very close to Arashiyama lake, you can enjoy (or not) some 30 minutes with leopard cats and a walk between owls. Curious about it, it is however very sad to see these creatures clearly overexposed and not free at all. Won t do it again !

Those cat is not response to you.... I think they had enough playing everyday by different people. For the owl.... I went to other place and feel owls here are so pity >

The owls are definitely stressed out here, and some are a bit aggressive. I'm not sure this type of environment is good for their health.
