Lots of fun. Good for date or family. Lots of various things to keep you busy, and staff are very friendly. Highly recommended.

It was great 😉 it’s just that we were not able to enter the cat house due to the corona virus but we enjoyed a lot there are many activities and you can also bring your own pet 😍

The place is full of doggies of all sizes. There's also a cat house. The animals in general seem happy. Are well looked after. Doggies that perform tricks and shows seem to do so willingly...and love their trainers and care takers. They are awesome to watch. However...there are some doggies in enclosures. They are spacious. But on rainy days the floor seems to get wet and there's no place for the doggies to sit. Also there was a strong smell of dog urine near these enclosures. We were told that they all get to run and play in the big runs after visiting hours. But it was still disappointing. Also, many big dogs in the petting area were restless. Tired of visitors touching them or trying to play with them. Also, a bit disturbing. Also, the place is very far and as far as I know unapproachable by public transport and needs a car.

A really nice side attraction for foreign tourists who miss their furbabies, and really more of a Japanese place to get all the love one can get from a dog (or cat) for a relatively decent price rather than going to a cat or a dog cafe in Tokyo where the charges are exorbitant. Also here is a retirement village (or retirement daycare) for the animals, a vet, a veterinary school, a dog training school, a school that gives people certification for dog training and obedience, a dog park, rent-a-dog for walks (for 20 minutes), and a small performance area to showcase dog talents. Although access from the bus is really awful (a kilometer away from the bus stand and its sparse schedule), this was an actually nice place even though it looks a bit dated and smelling like dog or cat pee/poop. It's meant for the locals and for training purposes, but you can ignore everything else when you have the charm and novelty that should be applied to animal hotels and animal parks done elsewhere.

If you're a lover of dogs, the experience is worth it. I would say it was quite expensive to travel, pay entry, and then pay extra for the dog walking rental, food etc. But we didn't mind because the money will help the upkeep and health of the dogs. Many different breeds. We prefer big dogs and had a great time walking and playing with them. The small dogs were also sweet, a bit loud. The only negative aspects were the high fees and the fact the staff don't interact much with the guests or help encourage the dogs to meet people or play. Allowing treats and toys to play with the dogs could make it better for everyone. The big dogs chewed the benches a lot which showed boredom and desire to play. The dogs do naturally prefer the company of the staff, but if you're patient and take the dogs on a walk they do appreciate you more (which is understandable). Would visit again!
