Various kinds of trees are planted on the outer periphery of the park. On the west side of the square there is one big zelkova. Huge golden summer greenery is spectacular. Fallen leaves pile up in the fall, and cicadas stick to trees everywhere in the summer. As you can see from other reviews, the park is full of seasonality. When I was a kid, I remember playing ball (I don't know if it's allowed in the park now) and playing Boy Scouts. (When you get off the park, you will find the Boy Scout Kawasaki 46th Group House.) The tree in the picture has been very impressive since I was a child.
