There are two parts. The special exhibition and the permanent one. The special is free for foreigners who bring their passports. The permanent is in the basement and is always free. The exhibition downstairs was good and informative.

万葉の時代の人々の生活が垣間見れる絵画やマネキン、土器などの出土物、そして映像を用いてたくさん展示されています。
常設展は無料で、しかも駐車場も無料なので、綺麗に整備された庭園も散策するとなると３時間くらいは滞在する予定を組まれるのがよいかな？と、思います。
