Fried wagyu steak, what else can you say...it’s amazing and it’s an experience for anyone that tries it.

This franchise has become my favourite food of the trip, despite having had beef that costed 10 times more. The magic is in the sauces, truly. The beef is nothing to write home about, and the most expensive dish tastes very similar to the least expensive one (yes, I have been eating here almost daily...what am I doing with my trip to Kyoto, sigh), but the sauces and toppings are so darn delicious! Tip: for hungry people, there's an option to refill the beef for 600 to 800 Yen, and the rice, soup and tea are free to refill; you know what to do ;)

Don't take the wagyu gyukatsu, definitely not worth the extra money.

You get a variety of sauces go select from, including the wasabi soy sauce which is really great. The wagyu beef was exceptional, although it was a bit small in portion for a very hungry person. There is a beef refill option if you felt the portion wasn't enough. There is a long queue as it seems popular among locals. We arrived at 6pm but waited 1 hour. It was worth the wait. The restaurant is beautifully designed and the jazz lounge music background was supplementary of that experience. Service was great, and the chefs seem really dedicated to this work of art.
