National Kuchinotsu Maritime Poly-technical School

The old name is “Ministry of Transport Jukouguchi Tsunoshima School” At that time, the “National Fruit Tree Proving Ground” in the Hayasaki area and a large facility under the jurisdiction of the country were always talked about when explaining Kuchinozu Town. It remains as a good memory of the time when the town was full of vitality for growth as “the best sailor town in Japan”.

It is a school for becoming a seafarer close to the almost dormitory system (other than local children). I watched it on the TV special program before, but I think that it is a good school. It seems that there are also students from remote areas such as Hokkaido.

Where life changed, in the old days it was a sailor school.
