有人駅。駅には何もないが、目の前が幹線道路なので、少し歩けば店舗はある。

A fixed-route bus cost 160 yen near the place where the ferry from Usuki Port got off at Yawatahama Port. There is a proper waiting room inside the station building. There is also a convenience store.

On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, Iyo Tsubakimonogatari comes around 4 o'clock in the evening. The warm air at that time was the best. The Champon beside the station was also delicious.
