Beautiful spot for cherry blossom-viewing! I was able to enjoy it this season as it’s less crowded. If you’re a dog lover, you can meet quite a few cute ones strolling. I also did a bit of skateboarding on the park side jogging path.

We pass here on the way to see the plums in the Ogose Bairin. It is the best time to see the plum blossoms, but some of the cherry blossoms here bloom. It's the same every year, so I think it's an early-blooming cherry tree. Along the Koshibe River, it continues for about 1.5 km from Ishiimabashi to Koshibe River Bridge. When you ride a bicycle along the embankment road, you can see the mountains of Okumusashi in front, the bamboo forest on the Koshibe River on the right, and the cherry blossoms on the left. If it's in full bloom, it's a shame... The photo was taken on March 14, 2017.

The Akiyokanzakura at Kita Asaba Sakuratsutsu Park will be in full bloom sooner than Yoshino cherry tree. The best time to see the season is mid-March to late March, but it may be around a week depending on the weather of the year. There are several temporary parking lots during the flower season. One of the parking lots, Hatoyama Agricultural Products Store, is recommended because you can leave your car for free and buy vegetables on the way back.
