I went to go there in last summer holidays. It's obon yasumi, so crowded and it's hard to find our bus from tokyo to osaka at that time. Eventho car parking lot is huge, public toilets have no aircons and small. But friendly staffs made us calm for situation.

Huge station. Very clean and good possibilities for luggage storage. A bit confusing due to size and many different ways...

Actually pretty good. There is a rather large waiting room, departure and arrival information is displayed on a real-time electronic board, snack machines available, helpful staff. If you prefer there's a large canvas covered outside seating area where you can wait. Also, a variety of coin lockers to put your items in if you care to arrive early but then decide to go around town and see the sights.

For long distance buses easier access from Yuracucho station. Station has indoor and outdoor waiting room, phone charging stations, toilet and lockers (300 to 600 yen for one day, depending on the size, maximum three days). The only minus is that the lockers use only 100 coins and there is no machine for change. After asking somebody in charge he told me to just buy something from the vending machine to get change back. But paying with 1000 yen bill you will probably get a 500 yen coin among the change, as it happened with me so again might not be enough. In overall just make sure you have enough 100yen coins of you plan to use the lockers.
