I recently had a SRAM Red E-tap group installed on my bike by this shop, and here is my experience. On my first visit, I dropped of my bike, along with all the parts and was told it would take a week to install. Shortly after that, I received a call from the shop that I was missing a piece they needed to install the hydraulic brake line. They did not have the part in shop, and they would not order the part, so I had to order the part myself. A few weeks later, once I received the part in the mail, I once again took my bike and parts to the shop, and was told my bike would be ready in a few days. After three days, when I went to pick up my bike. I noticed my bike was still disassembled and I was told I had the wrong part. After contacting SRAM, I got the correct part and brought it in on my third visit. After three more day, I finally got my group set installed. This back and fourth happened for about a month and a half, when it should have been taken care of on the first visit. Either they did not know, which would indicate a lack of competence, or they did not feel the need to check or let me know, which indicates poor customer service to me. As far as their work quality is concerned, they seemed to have done a pretty good job with installing all the components, but they did a terrible job setting up the front derailleur. On my first test ride, the first time I tried to shift to the big chain ring, the chain fell right off. Although it was an easy fix, I should expect the shifting to be in perfect working order after a fresh install by a bike shop. If you plan on getting work done at this bike shop, know exactly what you have, what you need done, and don't expect any professional advice or customer service from this shop. Also, if they do not have the part you need in shop, you will need to order it yourself, as they refuse to order any parts. Overall, I was very displeased with the service I got from this shop and will not be using them again. If you are in the the area, and looking for a good bike shop, I recommend Chiba bike shop near Sagami-Ono station. It is a Trek authorized dealer, they do a great job, and have excellent customer service.
Walked in and they didn't even talk to me.
I came into this shop with a squishy brake lever that needed to be bled. The employee that I spoke with almost immediately started inspecting the bicycle and was able to promptly provide me with a cost of repair.
Although I showed up close to the closing time, he maintained a professional attitude and surprisingly stayed past the shops posted hours by over a half hour to finish the brake job ( If the employee is reading this, I want to apologize for coming in at such a late time).
Overall, the staff here are very friendly and approachable. The shop is very clean and well organized. I will most definitely come back to this shop for all of my biking supplies and service tune ups.
Nice staff, decent selection of bikes, few shoes, no sizes above 26.5
No announcement of not being open.
