Not a big museum but it's free and it really gives a good picture of what living in Japan was like in the 50s, 60s and 70s. There's an old car exhibit in the basement as well which you shouldn't miss.

Exactly as described - a museum showcasing life during the Showa era. Free admission; expect to spend about an hour and a half here.

昭和の日用品を見に行きました。自由に撮影できて今後、絵を描く予定があるので助かりました。 残念なことは２０分しか滞在出来ないことです。コロナ禍で致し方ないのですが同行者と、他に１人、計３人だったので、そのような時は臨機応変に対処して頂けたらと思いました。

A museum with many exhibits from the Showa period I've been there several times I am grateful that it is free. It was great and fun because I was able to tell my elementary school daughter what kind of era it was. Also, there are many nostalgic things for me, born in the Showa era. It was a lot to see on display. There are many parking lots. Monday is a regular holiday There is also a library on the 1st floor of the same building You can enjoy it for a relatively long time.
