This beautiful little restaurant is one place I want to keep all to myself. The owners are so wonderful, however, that it would be an absolute crime so I'll share. Tucked away on a back street in Honmoku you instantly feel transported to a deeply transcultural experience that delicately blends French, Italian, and Japanese traditions to amaze you. Vegetables are locally sourced from Kamakura and fresh seafood frequently from Hokkaido give a new appreciation for quality ingredients prepared with subtlety and care in every step. On our most recent visit, we went as a party of eight to celebrate a graduation, and the chef took this as an opportunity to prepare a special roast. Ordering a course meal gave him the flexibility to contribute to our celebration in his own way. It was phenomenal! If you don't speak Japanese, the owners are open-minded and warm so happy to communicate as much as possible. Reservations can be booked on-line.

A long-established store on a back street run by a married couple. The dishes made with pesticide-free and naturally cultivated ingredients are delicate and delicious. This is the first roasted duck meat that is so tender.

I used it the other day. I had venison, but I was surprised that the smell was almost completely absent. When I talked to the chef, he said he bought a young doe from a huntsman and could offer soft meat without smell. He is very particular about other ingredients and liquor, and he visits and purchases both domestic and overseas. I understand that all dishes are delicious. It seems that the menu and course contents change every season, so I wanted to use it repeatedly. Recommended for anniversary use.

Ingredients and time and effort to cook, take off the hat. I think the wine selection is good. Although it is not cheap, I recommend it. Madame has sommelier qualifications and no parking. It is better to make a reservation in advance.
