At 5:46 am on January 17, 1995, a large earthquake hit southern Hyogo Prefecture. A subsequent large fire broke out around the park. There was Sugawara market around here, but it was burnt. At that time, it was often featured in the media. After that, the location of "Torajiro Benihana", the 48th work of the movie "The Man is Hard", was performed here. The morning after Atsumi Kiyoshi passed away, this was featured on the front page of the local Kobe Shimbun along with location photos.
