I worked at this school. Teachers try really hard, but it's a tough area. A lot of the kids have behavior issues and broken families. Poor discipline, again, mostly stemming from the home. Most kids are good, some are really bad. Working as an ALT here can be very frustrating, as your classes will be constantly interrupted by misbehaving students. The JTEs literally just have to talk over their students often times. Others, they just let a handful of kids sleep in class. Challenging location for sure, but not the worst in Nagoya, by far. There's a reason, though, the first picture on Google for this school is a police car...
