Benjaten Park is located beside the Benten Bridge (south side) where the old Nakasendo crosses the Oni River, and there is a shrine dedicated to Benten. There is a green space called "Shinmachi Shibafu Square" in the south, and it is convenient for parking and resting because it is fully equipped with parking lots and toilets. On the opposite (north) side of Bentenbashi, there was a monument called "The birthplace of Japan Three-day March" (managed by Shinmachi Walk Association).
