As the word suggests, we also have a children's playground outdoors, which is great for our family who come to hunt cherries from afar. After all, although they did not enter the hall, the children were happy to run around to observe the Jomon period house model, talk to the swans swimming in the pond, and play with the little monkeys coming from the mountains. It was an experience. There is a roadside station on the other side, and if you get tired, you can take a restroom break or have a meal there and go sightseeing in the surrounding area. You might think that this is the only thing that comes from the city, but it's a personal preference.

I am grateful for the events such as making magatama, making bows and arrows, and making glass balls. The exhibition space is also a valuable place where you can learn about the history of Okitama.

Although the number of visits decreased, I was able to see it comfortably because the air conditioning was working. It was interesting to see the history and excavated goods of the whole area of Yamagata prefecture up close.

Free on Cultural Day, but it is attractive to be able to experience it. Making a bamboo bow and arrow can be done in about 30 minutes, making it perfect for elementary school students. Kodama making will finally take the form of Kodama over an hour, but it can be processed with a paper file because it is a soft stone even if you go home. Making stone tools is probably the most difficult, and the shale is arranged so that it can be easily divided by the Buddhist Culture Center, and the angle and knack are taught, and the cobblestone and deer horn are cut out. It takes about an hour to make an arrowhead. There is also a bracelet made of hemp string, and the experience is an exceptional setting of 200 yen. The experience doesn't come that much, so it's a great place for people who like experimental archeology to exchange information with researchers. There is also a reproduction of a pit dwelling outside, and there are playground equipment in the park part, and there are more than ten parking lots, so it is good for a walk.

The Jomon period exhibits are enriched, and the relics from the early Jomon period in Takatsuki-cho are here. There are two Akutsu burial mounds next to the building, and you can see the stone chamber. Children playing around running around the old tomb ... Are the burialians laughing and watching?
