Here in Ogizawa, it is crowded from early morning to around 11:00 on weekends. Even now, there are 200 people waiting in line for the Kurobe Dam. There is a convenient large parking lot in front of the station where 230 cars can be parked for free and 350 cars can be parked for a fee, but on weekends, it is recommended to arrive early as it will fill up more and more from early Saturday. There was a long waiting line for admission for this long time.

There is a toilet at the station just above, but there is also a beautiful toilet here. It's close, so it's as expensive as 1000 yen for half a day. Recommended for day trips to Kurobe Dam. I feel that there was a parking lot discount when I bought 5000 yen at the station shop.

2019.8.4 (Sun) Entrance and usage fee are the same as the first parking lot, 1000 yen for 12 hours, 1000 yen every 12 hours thereafter. The toll booth is in front of the first entrance, the second is slightly on the right from the entrance, and the parking space is one level below the first parking lot. There is a clean public toilet in the first parking lot that can be used 24 hours a day. This morning, the first parking lot was almost full around 7:30, but the second parking lot was about half, the third parking lot (24 hours) with the entrance one step below the first (second) parking lot entrance 1000 yen) was almost full at around 7 o'clock, and the free parking lot seemed to be a little empty at around 1:30 in the night, but I think it was close to full. Since the day before was a fine weather on Saturday, I think it would be difficult to vacate a free parking lot considering that many climbers and tourists would enter the mountain and stay overnight. It was chilly when it was short sleeves. By the way, I think that the alpine route from Ogizawa, the first 7:30 and the next 8:00, the ticket sales counter was also lined up 10 minutes before departure, and there was relatively room.

Arrived around noon on Friday in August. It was parked in a parking lot a little away from the station. I waited for one Kanden bus and got on.
