Documents and other materials have not been preserved, but the history of Michizane Sugawara's history is urgently followed from the birth of the duke to the death of the diorama with a puppet show In addition to being displayed in an easy-to-understand manner, pottery and Tenjin dolls (Tenjin decorations) “Tenjin-sama to beef” are also displayed. Although it can be seen in a small history museum without taking much time, the admission fee is 200 yen for ordinary adults. It may be a good opportunity to learn about Michiko Sugawara along with the visit to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine (^ ~ ^)

The life of Michizane was introduced in the Hakata doll diorama. The life of Michizane is dressed in Hakata dolls, and is spelled out in 16 scenes of "Mounted Hakata dolls", telling the character of Michizane before life. Attached Hakata dolls are an old method of Hakata dolls that are not produced now, and it is said that Takuma Okiayu and Tesaburo Nishigami are working on them. It is right next to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, but I could see it slowly because there are few people compared to the main shrine visit. If you are a history fan, this is a great spot to visit.

This is a great mansion that expresses Michiko Sugawara's birth to death with multiple dolls. Wooden statues and castings are also on display, and you can feel the dignity.

It is a puppet hall rather than a historic house specialized only for Sugawara Mamo, which is near Tenmangu. The first room is an easy-to-understand explanation of Michizane's life with 16 scene dioramas made with Hakata dolls. The next big room is an on parade of Michizane doll. A few stationery such as a tortoise. There is also a diorama of the banquet of the tune of water. We do not exhibit the kind of literature, we sell Mizo book a little at the entrance. There is no replacement of the exhibits, so there is no lip, but the entrance fee is cheap as 200 yen, so if you have children you want to drop in only once.
