20/3/8 Watching. One Kawazu cherry tree at Ichijo Kabashi Bridge in Kyoto Horikawa. This variety can be enjoyed from late January to early March. Of course, it depends on the location ... It is a relatively new variety that was discovered about 60 years ago, and then spread throughout Japan. I visited around 16:00 in the evening when the sun was tilting. The rain stopped completely and the sun was shining a little. It is about 5 minutes on foot from Horikawa Imadegawa bus stop, or it is an intersection with an ordinary bridge unless it is this time. Bright pink came into my eyes as I approached! About 10 people enjoyed this time. If it was fine, it would have shined more with the blue sky and strong sunlight, but the cherry blossoms were cherry blossoms. Beauty and prettyness do not change. The cherry blossoms that make everyone smile are good. You can get to Ichijo Kabashi by bus from Kyoto Station. There is Seimei Shrine nearby, so why don't you go there?

It is Kawazu cherry tree which grows with potn along Horikawa Street. A couple of times between Nijo Castle and the Hare Shrine. Although it is a personal opinion to the last, I will be disappointed to judge it as one of the points. It does not go to Japan's three major disappointed (lol) Of course the cherry blossoms themselves are beautiful, but I think the landscape around them is too mismatched.
