Maseentei Parking Lot

Visited in November 2020. Grassland parking lot. Cars are not allowed on the top of the dam body, the levee and the top of the dam. Therefore, in order to park a car in this parking lot, it is necessary to come from the road next to Harusadaji Temple from Prefectural Road 44 and from the road next to Arai Shoten from Prefectural Road 287.

I went to Mase Dam, but unfortunately after the rain, the grass could be extended and there were spider webs everywhere. The scenery is good, so I would like to visit it again in autumn.

Walking and running are easy if you go up to Maze Dam from here. (Because it's flat so far, you only have to climb a little more at once) The Mase Dam Management Bridge, which is located downstream of the dam and is the headworks, is also a nationally registered tangible cultural property, just like the Maze Dam.

It is directly under the dam. It's not a big parking lot. When I went there, I was just cleaning and couldn't use it. When asked to the person who is working, it is said that cleaning work is done only once a year. Immediately, it seems that it will become a grass burdock.

There is no restroom, but it is a convenient parking lot for visiting Mase dam downstream.
