Times Car RENTAL

Nissan gave you different car which old type after you booked one month before. Also, you put insurance in internet whom told it won't working even small damage. Therefore, you have to pay them insurance again. They even complain cause you didn't put gas in place they told, even still show full tank when return. Can't be worse, you could feel they are not honest.

We rented from KIX for nearly two weeks and dropped it off in Kyoto. The best part was the individual staff we dealt with at each location who were helpful. But the car itself was very disappointing. And in particular, the tires were really worn (almost no tread near the edges) and the rubber was cracking. We raised the issue with Times on the first day after finding a scary lack of grip on wet roads -- they simply waived us off and refused to address the issue. The car was pretty tired to -- with over 50,000 km and lots of signs of use -- inside and out. It also had a weird after market rear view camera on it that provided an image that was next to useless. Times also had nasty surprise (seemed like a scam) on insurance. We'd had quote for "full insurance" but when it it came to pick the car up we were told it would cost another $150 to get coverage for the cost to Times if the car was to be taken out of service to receive any bodywork arising from an accident

Staffs not clearly explanation to the customers where is the place for returning the car, also we found no gas station in the airport island. Although I advance to airport 2.5 hours before arrival to KIX airport , I can’t saw any instructions for where i can return the car , I seek for help by staffs, they only busy for customers who check in for rental, they no care for us for returning car , the formalities of returning take one hour and made mistake for ETC charge, I almost miss my flight.

Staff was friendly and nice, easy to communicate with them. Car was not bad, it would be better if it's a hybrid, that could save us some more gas but I guess if you pay more, you might get one.
