You can enjoy it in a quiet atmosphere. Unlike a large museum, there are few works, but since the site of the power plant is used, you can see instruments.

Here, the building of the old hydroelectric power plant is diverted as an art museum. What is particularly unique is that it retains a significant amount of headraces (tubes that send water to the turbines) and machines of the time. For this reason, some writers have exhibited in tunnel-like tubes, and have become a very unique place for presentations. There may be features of such a space, but there are many interesting projects and you can enjoy it to the full. Unfortunately, is it difficult to borrow art from other museums because of the holidays and the lack of humidity control? A wonderful museum.

Anyway, it's the one and only museum. The exhibition is interesting, not to mention the building. Works that splash water in the hall or draw on the floor, The building is small, but the scale is too large. Uniqueness away from Japan. I'm a big fan.

As the name of the Nizayama Art Forest Power Plant Museum, it is made with the image of a forest. It takes about 15 minutes by car from Nyuzen Station and about 10 minutes from the smart interchange. There are many rice fields around this place. Some people think that, but especially those who navigate by navigation will be able to reach without confusion. However, please be aware that there are many closed days other than exhibitions except during the event. Although it is not possible to enter the hall, you can see the exterior and surroundings in the free parking lot.
