Originally, the “Aviation Staff Training Center” was established in Haneda Airport in 1959, renamed to “Aviation Security College” in 1971, and moved from Haneda to Rinku Town in 2008. In the Air Traffic Control Department, you will acquire the basic knowledge and skills to become an air traffic controller in 8 months. In the Department of Aeronautical Information, you will acquire the basic knowledge and skills such as aviation law required for air traffic control operation information officers in two years. In the Department of Aviation Electronics, students will learn the theory, practical skills, and aviation-related work of air traffic control systems in two years from the basic knowledge of electronics necessary for the work of air traffic control engineers.
