nice and airconditioned during eucharistic celebrations or mass. when there are no mass, church is solemnly quiet and cool - a perfect place to be with God and just talk or pray to him. do visit the place and pray. BUT be aware that church people are pushy and force you to sit. i prefer to stand at the back. the church people will tell you that is is not allowed but eventually will notice there are people standing after mass. for me, it meant asking church goers to better be late. i may stop going because of these pushy people.
Have class and japanese/english/vietnamese ceremonies.
My wife and I attended Sunday mass conducted in English. It was well attended and the celebrant, readers and choir were enthusiastic in leading the congregation. Cathedral architecture was also interesting. Too bad a mass was immediately following the one we heard as we were all asked to leave the Cathedral soonest to allow the attendees for the next mass to come in. We would have wanted to remain inside to further appreciate architecture and take photos.
Lovely cathedral and very solemn atmosphere. My friend had a very intimate wedding ceremony here and I would love to go back again when I get the chance.
